The Sunday Mercury believes our bid to recruit Mark Williams could well fail. They believe we aren't the only interested party.

PAUL MERSON'S PLANS TO RECRUIT MK DONS DEFENDER MARK WILLIAMS HAVE HIT A SNAG.
We aren't the only Club looking at him, and there is a chance we could be out bid.
This could turn out to be a tough summer for Merson, who like Colin Lee before him, faces an uphill struggle in the Transfer Market.
Williams is seen as the idea replacement for Paul Ritchie who looks set to move North after a lot of interest from SPL Clubs.
This follows the news that Bristol City are also eyeing up Tommy Mooney - a player who Walsall are said to be monitoring.
