MIXED NEWS FOR FORMER PLAYERS

WE BRING YOU NEWS ABOUT TWO FORMER WALSALL PLAYERS AND WHERE THEY WILL (OR WON'T) BE PLAYING THEIR FOOTBALL NEXT SEASON.

Winger Paul Hall has been awarded a new contract by Tranmere. Hall had been with Rushden, but joined Tranmere in March of this year. Rovers boss Bryan Little has told Sky Sports News - ''His experience of this division and his international experience has shone through". He also added that he expects Hall to play in an important role in his plans next season.

Meanwhile, former Walsall midfielder Danny Sonner has not been awarded a new deal by Notts Forest. Sonner has been in and out of the Forest team all season. Kinnear has told Sonner he may well welcome him back to the City Ground should he fail to find a deal elsewhere.
