TSFC Player of the Season is...

We have closed our Player of the Season Poll. Neil Emblen has come out on top.  

1st Neil Emblen 32%
Wherever he has played he has given 100%.  His performances since Christmas have been nothing short of exceptional. Even the most dedicated member of the Anti-Dingle brigade is willing to admit he has made an excellent impression. Emblen has managed 30 starts, 12 substitute appearances and 5 goals for us this season.

2nd Paul Ritchie 25%
Ritchie won the Supporters Club ballot, but could only manage 2nd place in our poll.  He joined the Club in need of first team football looking to get his career back on track. His no-nonsense style of defending has made him popular with the fans. He has also broken back in to the Scottish national team.

3rd Jim Walker 15%
What can you say about this man? Words cannot describe his contribution to the team.  How many Man of the Match Awards has he won? How many opposition fans end up singing praises? It's impossible to remember.

4th Ian Roper 11%
He isn't great on the ball and he isn't lightening quick. . Yet Ian Roper is our most popular defender. Last years winner has continued to be the Clubs number one Central Defender.

5th Paul Merson 5%
No-one could have predicted how his season has turned out. His problems have been well documented, yet his contribution in the final few weeks has been crucial.
