I, for one, have just about got to the stage of wishing this season was over. Despite that, it appears to be time to start thinking about next! The club have announced the first games of the pre season programme and it will be the Premiership big boys coming to Bescot.

Manchester United will be our guests on the 27th July, but it remians to be seen how many of the first team stars will appear. United have a habit of sending out two squads at the same time, but we can but hope we get a chance of seeing some of the world's best.

The second game is a repeat of what seems to be becoming an annual event - neighbours Aston Villa will be arriving on the 30th July.

Whatever happens in the next two games, it looks like we are still attracting some good pre season fixtures, at least!
