Paul Merson has declared an interest in the Walsall Job. His post match comments on WM were passionate and positive.
MERSE WANTS THE JOB
THE STAND IN GAFFER HAS TOLD RADIO WM HE WOULD "LOVE IT".
From what Merson said we shouldn't expect anyone to be appointed before the end of the season.
He also told Radio WM he would like to work with Walsall's promising youngsters, adding ""If i got the job that's what I would be doing, bringing through the Kids".
Merson has played at the very top. He commands a great deal of respect around the Bescot and would be a popular appointment.
Merson gave an inspiring post match interview. It is a long, long time since the words of a Walsall manager were so honest and positive about the task ahead.
