The fact we cannot match the wages big clubs like Derby has hit us yet again. Lee has told us we missed out on signing Paul Peschisolido.

PESCH TURNED US DOWN

COLIN LEE HAS TOLD THE BIRMINGHAM EVENING MAIL THAT FORMER SHEFFIELD UNITED STRIKER PAUL PESCHISOLIDO WOULD HAVE BEEN A SADDLER IF WE COULD HAD THE FINANCES.  

Lee said : "Paul spoke to us before he spoke to Derby, but he wanted a deal not just for the rest of this season but next and possibly even the one after that"

He is not the only current Derby player we have missed out on this season. Lee also tried to sign defenders Michael Johnson and Jamie Vincent, not forgetting Brazilian striker Junior, who is expected to make the bench on Saturday.
