Rumours concerning former Leeds and Chelsea man Jody Morris continue to do the rounds. 

This is not the first time we have been linked to the player who nearly joined 1st Division  Cardiff City earlier on in the season.

Colin Lee has said "No-one will deny that either Jody Morris or Craig Burley would improve our midfield. But we can't compete with some other clubs in terms of finance." 

It is extremely unlikely that Morris will turn up at the Bescot, but who would have thought Paul Merson would? As Walsall fans know nothing should ever be ruled out. 

Jeff Bonser has told us to expect some fresh faces  and Morris would be a welcome addition. 

Lee has also said the Burley deal now looks unlikely because he has failed to get back in touch.
