Like Father, Like Son?

The Express & Star is reporting that our rebuilding continues, as we have offered a trial to the son of former Villa, Man Utd and Eire legend, Paul McGrath.
Chris McGrath is a central defender, like his father and an Eire youth international. He is 19 and has come up through the ranks at Liverpool, but has not been offered contract by Gerrard Houllier.
Along with he trial given to Andre Boucaud, it looks as if Colin Lee is concentrating on trying to rebuild the squad much earlier this year, and is aiming for much younger players.
We can but hope that, if signed, McGrath turns out to be anywhere near as good as his father, but, preferably, without the dodgy knees.
