The official site has announced details of a pre-season friendly against Premiership opposition. New Page 1

The Saddlers face Aston Villa on Friday 30th July. It will be a 7:45 kick off, with a bumper crowd expected.

The Saddlers registered a 2-1 win against the Villa back in August. The friendlies are part of our link up with the Villa which allows them to play their reserve games at Bescot.

The fact we could also be having a friendly with Manchester United means we could be getting some big crowds prior to the start of the season. This could generate some much needed income for Colin Lee.
