At the end of a story on Matty Fryatt's loan at Carlisle being extended a month, the club have said a signing of a non contract player is due.
The Matty Fryatt story is that he will be staying with the third Division strugglers for another month, but with a 24 hour recall clause.
However, they have said that we are about to sign a non contract player. Despite ex Everton midfielders trialling for the reserves and hopes of Jamie Cureton, this is almost certainly Australian International keeper Andy Petterson, being brought in during Whacker's suspension.
