The Evening Mail and the Express & Star are reporting that moves are very close in the search for cover for Zigor and another striker. The Mail says that we have agreed a three month loan for a Premiership left back, firstly as cover for the Aranalde and then as competition. Lee is waiting to hear from the player, who has been recommended by his club to accept the offer.
The Express and Star is carrying the same story, but says that we will have the player for a month as well, if that's all he wants.

The Star also is saying we are locked in a battle with Stoke and Gillingham for the services of Adi Akinbiyi and that Lee is expecting to hear from him very shortly too. Akinbiyi has almost completed negotiations to be released from his contract at Palace.

The paper has also confirmed the story about Karl Hawley rejoining Raith and says Lee is in negotiations with Kidderminster for an extension to Bishop's loan deal.
