Platt holds the key to Royals clash.

If David Platt selects Steve Sidwell - Our game against the Royals is off. As Reading will have 3 international call ups.

Our clash with Reading on Saturday 6th September is under threat because of international call ups.  Steven Sidwell (England U21s), Adie Williams (Wales) and Omar Daley (Jamaica) are all expected to be involved.

Readings official site confirms that the game rests of Steven Sidwells selection in David Platt's under 21 squad which is announced the the 29th of August.

Whether an Under 21 call up should be associated with a full call up is debatable, but the rules state 3 call ups and the game can be called off.
