Another rumour - this time linking us to an international center half from the Premiership.

The Birmingham Mail is linking us with a move for Jamaican International, and Blues defender Michael Johnson.

Johnson has 1 year left on his deal, and is believed to be attracting interest from both Stoke and Notts Forest. 

It looks as though Johnson could be set for a season on the sidelines, with the likes of Upson and Purse taking up the defensive slots. Johnson is 30 years old, and has spent most his career in the first division after leaving Notts County in 1995.

It is believed that the Blues would want a fee for the Jamaican international, which makes any move from us look unlikely.
