It's one piece of "hard" news and two rumours today, as Danny Hay announces his retirement from International Football (again) and two rumours rise again! Danny Hay has announced his retirement from International football again.

He returned to the New Zealand fold last year, but, following the Confederations Cup, has decided to once again call it a day.

Whether this is an attempt to make himself more attractive to clubs in this country remains to be seen.

The two rumours eminate from "Singingshiver" on this message board, that Junior has contacted the club (at last) asking for discussions with the Manager and that the defender we are talking to is, indeed, Ludo Pollett.

The Junior rumour has cropped up before, but it would be welcome news, whereas the Pollett rumour has been refuted a couple of times by people who are sure he has returned to France.

Time will tell!
