The players have reported back for Pre-Season training and Mick Halsall has been speaking to the official site...

"It's important that we get a good pre-season in to prepare us for the challenges of the next nine months"

"Unlike previous years there will not be a lot of travelling for the players as we decided against a tour, so they will be able to come in here mornings and afternoons if necessary, and we will put them through their paces in no uncertain terms."

The Preseason fixtures are as follows...

July 15, Solihull Borough (A) - Lee may want to give all the players a good run out, we should expect a boat load of subs, Sven Style.
July 18, Moor Green (A) - Traditionally a match for fringe players, but with no tour this year who knows. 
July 21, Hednesford Town (A) - We first spotted Junior in this game last season, expect a strong side to travel to Keys Park.
July 26, Northampton Town (A) - Lee will probably send a strong squad of first teamers to Sixfields.  
July 29, Boldmere St Michael (A) - Certainly a game for the reserves, young players  run out. 
July 30, Kidderminster (A) - Lee should send a strong squad to Kiddy, the Harriers will give the lads a good test, and make them work hard.
August 2, Aston Villa (H) - What kind of side O'Leary will send is unknown, Lee will have his strongest XI out for sure. 
August 5, Birmingham City (H) - The biggest game of pre-season Calendar. Whakkas testimonial game. Expect a strong Blues side to visit the Bescot.
