QPR have agreed two year deals that will keep Gino Padula at the club and bring Gareth Ainsworth to Loftus Road from Cardiff. The news of Ainsworth signing for Rangers will be a big disappointment for those fans who were hoping to see him at Bescot next season.

Walsall were close to securing a permanent deal to bring Ainsworth to the club in the second half of last season, but Walsall and Wimbledon were unable to decide on a suitable fee, and the player joined Cardiff on loan until the end of the season.

Fans expected Lee to move for the player this summer, but we can only suspect that he has someone else lined up.
