The Official Site has confirmed that Aston Villa will no longer be needing to use the Bescot Stadium for their reserve games this season.

Fans were angered prior to Christmas when it was announced the Club had agreed to renew their deal with the Premiership side that allowed them to base their reserves game at the Bescot.

The club argued that it was a source of valuable income, but what quickly became evident is that it was a source for nearly spoiling our season, as our playing surface is not the best as it is.

It is a well known fact that the likes of Bury and York City have allowed Premiership Clubs to use their facilities, but how many First Division clubs have similar kinds of deals?
