TheSaddlersFC can exclusively reveal that Chris Shuker is now playing for a contract at the Bescot Stadium. The Man City youngster has today turned down a new contract at Maine Road.

We can today confirm that Shuker has officially turned down a 12 month deal at Maine Road in order to try his luck else where. This decision is hardly surprising considering that the youngster spoke out about his lack of first team opportunities earlier this week. Our sources at the Club who told us this news, have also informed us that Lee has been so impressed with the midfielder that if his good form continues an offer will be made during the summer. Shuker now has a real incentive to impress both Lee and fans, he is hungry for first team football, and we all hope he will continue to play it in the first division with the Saddlers.
