The Verdict:  If we put in the kind of performance we saw at Pompey we will have no worries. The danger is complacency and the  the great throw away. No kind of lead at any stage of the game is safe, so expect an edgy encounter. Lets just hope we do not worry too much about losing and invite the Mariners on to us !
PREDICTION: Saddlers 2-1 Mariners

What the Fans Say.....

Dave Hawkes - Verdict - Provided we keep up our impressive scoring record, I can't see the Mariners scoring more than us, but the dodgy Bescot pitch won't help matters.

Prediction - Walsall 2 - 1 Grimsby Town
Cannock -Verdict - Expect the whole Saddlers defence to be watertight. Colin Lee will have been working on this area all week. Given that our forwards are currently scoring goals for fun i predict an absolute hammering for the Mariners. It is going to be our biggest win of the season (with ease)

Prediction - Walsall 4-0 Grimsby

7inchuknowwho -Verdict - Cant see anything other than close game with our jittery defending!! Do see us winning though.

Prediction - Walsall 3-2 Grimsby

RushallSaddler - Verdict - I  don't think we'll concede a goal this week, it may take a while for us to score the first maybe just before half time, then we'll score three more in the second half.

Prediction - Walsall 4-0 Grimsby
