At a very informal and relaxed evening in the Foodheroes Marquee at the BPA last night, Pat Pellegrini scooped the Coventry Supporters Player of the Season award.  Amongst the speeches from Jon Sharp, Nick Johnson, other awards were presented to very deserving recipients.

After the main meal, Pat Pellegrini was presented the Blenkinsopp Trophy, plus an engraved tankard as a memento. The fly half thanked the voters and was  rewarded with a generous round of applause. The full lists of awards on the night were : 

Coaches Player of the Season, presented by Alex Rae,  Tom Ball

Try of the Season, Ryan Hutler's try v Gloucester in The Premiership Cup, Jon Sharp presented

Coventry Supporters Player of the Season, Pat Pellegrini, presented by Paul Ingleston

Club Person of the Year, Brian  King, presented by Nick Johnson

Players' Player of the Year, Will Wand , presented by Alex Rae

Award of Coventry caps for making 50 appearances, presented by Jon Sharp

Tom Ball

Suva Ma'asi

Jamas Martin

Evan Mitchell 

Jordon Poole

James Tyas

What a great season Pat has had, both for club and a late call up for the world cup, even missing a number of games for Cov he's topped one or two of the championship scoring charts. He must ready to rest and reflect on a great season. Winning the supporter's award is well deserved.

I would have hated playing against him, you never know what he will do next, great player with just natural ability.
