perhaps it's time to list the confirmed re-signings and new signings - so far.
With it now being some time since the last 'new' announcement, maybe we can say that's it for now?
Maybe...
Anyway:
New Signings
Eliot Salt (Tighthead)
Obinna Nkwocha (Lock)
Paddy Ryan (Back Row)
Jack Bartlett (Back Row)
Matt Kvesic (Back Row)
Ryan Hutler (Wing)
Re-signings
George Smith, Tobi Wilson, Will Lane, Lucas Titherington, Will Rigg, Suva Ma'asi, Ollie Andrews, Pat Pellegrini, Tom Ball, Fin Ogden, James Tyas, Will Chudley, Will Wand, Evan Mitchell, Louis James, Ollie Betteridge, Will Biggs.
That's a total of 23 confirmed new and extended so far.
Given that eight seniors left the squad at the end of the season, with five of those being forwards, then the replacements theoretically cover those (not necessarily position for exact position) but we have a net loss of two backs.
So, we have 27 players to date and I'm sure a few loans will come in soon.
Not expecting last season's run, but we can but hope, after all last season was a joy.
Considering at the start of last season I was hoping for mid table I’ve got confidence in Alex Rae. I’d hope to see 4/5 more come in for the season either long term loan or signings
Agree with your thoughts Richard and with the reported 120+ players surplus to requirements from the premiership there must be plenty of moves to come fingers crossed cheers Colin.
RichardStokes Think we still need
* competition / cover at Fullback
* another BIG Lock
* Props, always more Props
Well, not the biggest lock, but good to have another one on board, a bit uncomfortable that it is a loan from Ealing, but it must make sense to Alex and Jon.
