Hi Russ, as it's my first time joining the prediction league, could someone explain the relevance of the figures in the 'F' 'A' and 'GD' columns? Cheers Dave.

Dave mate, I wish I knew!

Someone did try to explain on an earlier thread, but it sailed right by me.

I'll see what I can dig out.

Gutted that I completely forgot to put one in for the Pirates game as well. Bah!

I posted the following some time ago and believe it still works but I'll check again later

Looking at your prediction and mine, i think it works like this:

Actual score is Cov 30 RP 32, you predicted 35-30 and i predicted 33-22

so you're 5 points out with cov and 2 with RP making a total of 7 which is your minus 7 points, total points scored = 62 which when you take off your minus 7 leaves 55 for therefore 55-7

my score is 3 out with cov and 10 with RP making a total of minus 13, when this is taken from the total of 62 = 49 my FA column shows 49-13

I think this is correct but as i only know yours and my predictions it might be but!!!

Thanks for your efforts in trying to explain (scratches head) I will just concentrate on the 'Pts' column I think!
