Coventry return to form.
If anyone wondered if the pitch would stand up to union, league, and football being played on it all winter, I think they know now. All credit to Eric the groundsman and his team for getting the surface anywhere near playable.
Anyway, Cov put in a strong performance in the mud to run out 57 - 12 winners against Esher. Unsurprisingly both sides kept it fairly tight with a fair bit of kicking, but Cov looked that bit faster and stronger than their opponents. Definitely a game for the forwards this one.
The other good news is that Darlington Mowden Park only just scraped a 10 - 8 win against Caldy, so we're now 15 points clear at the top.
