...after Cinderford victory.

Head coach Scott Morgan insists that Coventry will continue to take things week by week as they attempt to make up lost ground in the National League One frontrunners.

After a damaging run of three defeats, Cov steadied the ship by taking maximum points from their last two games against Blaydon and Cinderford.

But while acknowledging the side’s improvement, Morgan says the results must be viewed in their proper context and that there is still a long way to go.

“We have got to have a realistic grasp on the two teams we have played in the last two weeks, and no disrespect to them but they are down at the bottom of the table,” said Morgan.

“That’s not to say that our performances haven’t improved, we are certainly playing better than we were, but we know that this league is all about taking each game as it comes and just focusing on the week ahead.

“We are seeing all the time that teams that lose one weekend can be red hot the next, and vice versa – look at last weekend when Esher, who had gone too when they beat us three weeks ago, lost at Blaydon and Rosslyn Park were destroyed at home by Loughborough Students.
