The Coventry Rugby team has just been announced that travels away to face Hull Ionians with kick off at 3pm. next Saturday 10th October.
There are 5 changes including 1 positional from the starting side that earned a hard fought victory over Plymouth Albion last Saturday. Scott Hamilton returns as full-back in place of Caolan Ryan who goes onto the bench. James Tincknell returns after injury in the centre in place of Callum MacBurnie. Harrison Lee-Everton makes his first start in place of Wayne Evans who also goes onto the bench, whilst in the back row Sam Pailor switches to No 6 in place of the injured Alex Woodburn, with his place at No 8 taken by Loti Molitika.
Personally, I am disappointed to see Caolan Ryan is on the bench. No disrespect to Matt Jones, but for me he gives possession away too cheaply with aimless kicks down field. I think it would be good to see what Caolan can do in the number 10 shirt. Work commitments mean I can not go this weekend, but I will have my eyes watching Scotland v Samoa when I get home, while looking out for any messages on this site for Cov updates.
One step at a time for JLR after his lousy injury. If he's healed, watch his confidence grow as he gets more game time. A great player to bring on.Go for it Cov. Bring back a win.
Me and big m are going up and back tomorrow..
We haven't been to the hull stadium and after reading the local paper, it sounds like they are full of confidence after their good start in the league. they are above us in the table after all!
