...at home Saturday 5th September 2015.
The Coventry Rugby team has just been announced that faces Wharfedale here at the Butts Park Arena, this coming Saturday 5th September with the usual kick off time at 3 pm, in the opening fixture of the new National League 1 season.
The team shows just 2 changes from the side that beat Championship side Ealing Trailfinders last Saturday, with Scott Hamilton replacing Cliffie Hodgson at full-back, and centre Rob Knox replacing Sam Smith.
Well we weren't far off...
Interesting that there isn't room for Cliffie in the squad, and that we are going with a replacement no9 when we didn't do that last year.
And I think most of us will be surprised that Danny Wright doesn't feature in the match day squad.
Don't know Nigel, but I wish the club would use his correct name (Harrison Lee-Everton). I always find it a bit disrespectful to get folks' names wrong (again, perhaps that's just me?).
Anyway, if you're still down Westwood Way you could pop round and ask him as he appears to work (or certainly did) at Robson James Recruitment - which can't be more than a drop-kick or two or three away?

Here is the Wharfedale team-very experienced and a good backrow.
15 Harry Bullough,14 Maxime Labasse, 13 Cameron Hudson, 12 Huw Morgan, 11 Oliver Cicognini, 10 Jamie Guy, 9 James Doherty, 1 Chris Steel, 2 Ian Larkin, 3 Matt Beesley,4 Adam Howard, 5 Simon Willet, 6 George Hedgley,7 Josh Burridge,8 Rob Baldwin,
replacements:- hooker-Dan Stockdale, prop-Ali Wade,lock/br- Jim Mason, backs- Will Bell and Lloyd Davies.
CP thanks for the update - without wishing Cliffie any harm, I'd like to think that is the case.
Appearing to be 'dropped' as he does seems a little hard given all he has done on and off the field. An update from the club on their website (heehee) might have helped? Just feel he deserves better if an injury is the reason...
