Coventry RFC have bolstered their squad for the last two months of the season with a quartet of signings - including two international players - in a hectic round of action before the February 28 registration deadline.
All Black full-back and winger Scott Hamilton and Argentina winger Gonzalo Camacho have both come to the Butts Park Arena on loan from Leicester Tigers.
And they are joined by open side flanker Darren Waters, on loan from London Welsh, and England Under-20 centre Max Clark as a dual registered player from Bath Academy.
“It’s an indication that we’re not giving up on this season,” said rugby director Phil Maynard . “Nothing’s over until it’s over, and we are also looking at things in the long term.
“We always planned to strengthen at this stage of the season when players came available, these are high calibre players who need rugby, we will make them as welcome as possible and hopefully some will stay on further.
“It’s a statement for this season and the future as well as we go on with the constant building process and with a sustainable business model in place.”
