The rumours that are circulating surrounding Premiership side Wasps potentially securing a controlling stake in Coventry City FC 's Ricoh Arena are worrying for Sky Blues fans.

The overwhelming reaction when the Telegraph broke the story yesterday was one ranging from disbelief to anger, with many suggesting that the move will not work. It doesn't seem to be a matter of rugby versus football politics, either, despite the concerns over what would become of the Ricoh Arena pitch.

We've seen before that rugby union and football club ground-shares CAN be successful, but by the same token, they've been known to fail too. The ire ofCoventry City supporters, rightly so, seems aimed more at the unknown future of their club and the impact that the arrival of Wasps will have on Coventry RFC and, thus, the city in general.

There have been a few instances of rugby union sides opting to ground-share with football clubs since the acceleration of modern stadia, and we chart whether they were a success or a failure below.
