The Coventry Rugby side to face Doncaster Knights at home at the Butts Park Arena with kick off at 3pm this coming Saturday 12th April 2014 has just been announced.
It shows 7 changes from the starting line-up plus a positional change from the side that lost away last Saturday at Rosslyn Park. In the front row Matt Price and Ignas Darkintis exchange with Tim Ryan and Chris Locke from the replacement bench; Tom Poole also moves in off the bench in place of Scott Morgan. At full-back Barry Davies moves from the bench with Clffie Hodgson switching to the centre in place of Luke Myring. It is all change in the back row as there is a recall for Max Northcote-Green in place of George Oliver whilst Danny Wright comes in at No 6 in place of Sam Pailor, who switches to the bench, and finally there is a welcome return for Jacques le Roux after injury in place of Brett Daynes.
I wish I could understand the reasoning behind all the changes, not just for this game but for virtually every game.
That said, I am soooo looking forward to this game. Donny look very likely to secure promotion. Let's just hope that they don't finally achieve it on Saturday.
A few changes yes. Some enforced, some not, yet I reckon that the matchday squad selected for the last 7 or 8 games has come from the same 25-ish players. I hope most of them are the nucleus of our team next year. Anyway, give the fans a performance to relish Cov.
A quick look at the pinned squad list shows that over the season over 80% of the appearances come from fewer than that many people twitchywinger. Despite the lack of stability in the starting list week by week, the core of the squad this season has been relatively consistent, certainly compared with those years whe. Desperate changes have been needed to rescue a poor situation.
have a great day everyone..its wonderful to have a day like this in Coventry...Doncaster will be making plenty of noise..lets see if everyone can make lots of noise..the season of learning may culminate in the toppling of the possible champions...go for it Cov....sorry I cant be there..gutted doesn't cover it

Would you like me to post score updates on here? I usually do it on Rolling Maul, but happy to do them on here as well.

Looking forward to some Butts Park hospitality tomorrow. Should be a great game and will raise a few jars to an away win ;-). Don't think there is much chance of RP failing to get 5 points at Hull so sorry lads, we will be looking for 5 from you
See ya's tomorrow
