United will be represented in the Yorkshire Masters tournament, which takes place at the end of this month. A Blades side will take on teams representing Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds and Bradford at the Sheffield Arena on Sunday, June 30, starting at 7pm.

The Yorkshire leg is part of a national six-a-side competition for ex-professional players aged 35 or over, with the winners qualifying for the Grand Final in September.

United will be managed by Tony Currie and the following squad has been named: Graham Bernstead, Paul Beesley, David Barnes, John Pemberton, Glyn Hodges, Paul Wood, Tony Agana, Ian Bryson, Tony Philliskirk, Brian Gayle.
