Although this is not official news it has been suggested on the official Sheffield United Football Club forum that both Simon Tracey and Owls keeper Kevin Pressman have a testimonial.

Both goalkeepers have been that their clubs for over ten years and both qualify for a testimonial. Fans of Sheffield United believe that a Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday match be held in honor of the two goalkeepers.

"I don't if Kevin has had one yet, but both keepers have been at there own clubs for at least 10 year so why not get a packed Bramall Lane or Hillsborough and share the money, also it'll b a great game ( well for us stuffing the Owls 3-0)" said mad blade.

Kevin Pressman has been with the blue and white half of the City since November 1985 and has played nearly 350 appearances for the club to date. Pressman has been at the club since a youth player and has only ever played for one other club, this was Stoke City who had him on loan during 1991-92 season and played just a hand full of games at the potteries club.

In October 1988 Dave Bassett bought Simon Tracey for a small fee of just £7,500 from Wimbledon, since then Simon has played over 300 games for the Blades. While at Sheffield United he moved on loan to several clubs. These include the likes of Manchester City (1994-95), Norwich City (1994-95), Nottingham Forest (1995-96) and his old team Wimbledon  (1995-96).

I personally think that both keepers deserve a testimonial as they have been a great servant to there Sheffield clubs.
