Ex-Sheffield United midfielder Bobby Ford has joined Oxford United Football Club on a free transfer. Ford, who was released by United in the summer has been left with out a Football Club until Ian Atkins signed the Ex-U's player.

Bobby Ford was signed by Nigel Spackman in January sales of 1997 for £400,000 when Oxford United went into administration and where forced to sell key players for cheap by the admnistrators.

While at Bramall Lane Bobby made 138 league appearances with 6 goals.
