Preston tonight claimed a play-off place thanks to Sunderland beating West Ham 2-1, the result also means that Sunderland win the Championship title.
Sunderland fell behind to a Marlon Harewood goal in the 44min, but Sunderland equalised in the 52nd min courtesey of Arca and a late winner from Elliot, ensured celebrations for both Sunderland and Preston.
