Gavin Ward returns from a facial injury to contend the Preston keeper's jersey with on-loan Chris Day.
Ward came through a midweek reserve game, but fellow keeper Andy Lonergan remains a long-term absentee.
Wolves could welcome back Dean Sturridge from a hamstring injury and Rob Edwards who missed the win at Crewe due to a birth in the family.
Mark Clyde (tendinitis), Vio Ganea (knee), George Ndah (thigh) and Matt Murray (foot) remain sidelined.
