The first half saw Preston the attacking force for much of it having had seven corners inside the first 20mins.

Preston had the first chance of the game with Lewis hitting a free kick from a good position into the Forest wall.

Chris Day was called into his first PNE action when saving brilliantly from former Stoke man Kris Cummins.

Lewis then smashed a shot against the outside of the post after good work from Mckenna.

Preston will be looking to put some of these chances away in the second half and bring Cresswell and Nugent more into the game, as they look for all three points.
