Despite Preston picking up another three points on Saturday taking them into the play-off positions manager Billy Davies is keeping his players feet firmly on the ground..... After Preston North Ends impressive away win at Home Park on Saturday, the home of Plymouth Argyle, manager Billy Davies gave his squad a well earned three day break to spend with their families.

But before he sent them away he made sure he had a good word with them, telling them that they had won nothing yet, and still having sixteen games left to play mean't there was a lot of football to play before the job had been done.

And you can understand his caution mid January last year Preston were in the healthy position of fifth place, but ended up finishing in the bottom half of the table.

On Preston currently being in sixth place Davies said "I've told the players not to look at the tables, and don't listen to anything else going on with regards to the play-offs."

On the rest of the season Davies had this to say "We just have to keep preparing properly, keep doing the right things and see were it takes us."BR
