Preston North End midfielder Paul McKenna talks about how the squad is travelling down to play Plymouth Argyle full of confidence..... Mckenna said "we are going down in high spirits and hopefuly we can come away with three points".

"Everyone is on there toes and seems to know what they are doing at the minute, and know what job they have to do and it has been getting us results."

McKenna went on to talk about the competion for places at deepdale these days "I think it's good for the club. At the end of the day you want to be at a club that is succesful and if that means being on your toes and having to fight everyday for your place for the good of the team then it is only healthy."

On Preston's recent run McKenna said "we've moved into contention from behind and are really happy were we are at the minute, and it is more encouraging to do what were doing than to of been second or third and to be slipping down, its all about confidence, and at the minute we are on the up hopefully it can stay that way."

On tomorrows game at Plymouth he talked about if it was a good time to play them, "there are two ways of looking at the fact they've not been on a great run. Some will say its a good time to play them and maybe their confidence will be low, but on the other hand if they are on a bad run they will be more determined to beat us, so its just how we both play on the day."
