Motherwell manager Terry Butcher fear's Saturday's excellent performance against Rangers could mean players attracting the attention of bigger clubs and possibly moving on this summer. Butcher reckons players such as McFadden who is a summer target for the Old Firm and Pearson will attract the most attention, Pearson terrorised the Rangers midfield and Faddy scored the goal of the day in the 7 goal thriller. He told teletext " I don't mind who talks about McFadden. If people are talking about him, he must be doing something right. " And if Pearson keeps producing that sort of form, then there will be a lot of teams talking about him. "



Butcher also reckon's it would be hard for the club to hold onto McFadden if a decent offer came in with the club still in administration, he added " If the enquiries come in, then they come in - I can't stop that. "






The team will now have to forget about Saturday's disapointing result and concentrate on getting themselves off the foot of the table starting at Firhill this weekend. Butcher said
" Everybody needs to produce this form in these six remaining games as that's going to be what it will take. "
