Motherwell are back in SPL action this Saturday, we face Dunfermline at East End Park.


Terry Butcher's men lost 1 - 0 on their last visit to Fife but won the next match at Fir Park 2 - 1 in Febuary and haven't won since, defeats from Hearts, Aberdeen and Rangers saw us slip to the bottom of the table. David Partridge is expected to return after picking up a knock in the Scottish Cup tie at Stranraer.



Dunfermline have boosted their already impressive attack by signing freed Dundee United striker Jim Hamilton, the 27 year old signed for the Pars on an amatuer contract to bypass FIFA rules which don't allow professional players to move outwith the transfer window. With 17 league goals, Stevie Crawford will be the Pars main threat up front although he played over an hour for Scotland midweek and could be replaced by Jim Hamilton. Scott Thompson will miss the match.



Pride of Lanarkshire prediction -

Three defeats in a row is relegation form and Motherwell will have to improve at East End Park if they want to take anything from the match but I'm optimistic we can take a point.
