Killen goes to Oldham

City’s New Zealand international forward, Chris Killen, has moved to Oldham for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £200,000.

Killen was another promising product of the academy system but found himself at least 7th in the pecking order for a first team berth after the recent acquisitions of Niclas Anelka, Jon Macken and Matias Vuoso.

Faced with very little chance of getting a game for the blues, Killen chose to complete a move to Boundary Park where he will hope to have a better chance of first team football and an opportunity to match his scoring exploits with New Zealand.

All at mcfconline wish him well.
