Kevin Keegan has already said that he will employ the squad rotation system this season but whether he changes his team tonight is open to debate.

There is a school of thought that believes Keegan will recall Kevin Horlock in place of Darren Huckerby to strengthen his midfield away from home. I think Keegan will look at Saturday’s performance and Villa’s poor start to the season and stick with the team that started against Newcastle.

Villa appears to be a club in some disarray, with a new player each day seemingly wanting away. They have lost both their opening fixtures and may be missing Turkish central defender Alpay for tonight’s game.

It is Kevin Keegan’s third successive fixture against a team managed by a former England manager, with Graham Taylor currently holding the reins at Villa. Keegan has won one and lost one to date, I fully expect it to be a second win tonight. City’s attacking football should prove too much for Villa with the blues running out 2-0 winners.
