Doncaster Rovers have revealed that reserve-team players are being rested as they may have to play for the first-team.

A club spokesperson said:
"We didn't have one first-team player, or squad player, involved. We just daren't risk them with all our injuries, and a first-team game coming up on Saturday.
"Mark Albrighton, who may have featured, is injured, and those injuries to the first-team players also meant that those on the fringe of the side, who would probably have played, get held back because we can't risk them.
"It's unfortunate, but we really are down to the bare bones."
