Doncaster Rovers earned a point against 6th placed Bristol City in their 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Doncaster took the lead through Neil Roberts after he headed into the back of the net from a cross.

But due to a poor defence and dire marking, Bristol got back in the match when Steve Brooker smashed in the equaliser.

John Doolan made a return from injury as he was subbed on for Ricky Ravenhill in the 67th minute but he could change the game.

Both teams had chances at the death with Rovers top scorer, Michael McIndoe firing over the bar and Doncaster keeper, Andy Warrington making 2 superb saves to keep out Steve Brooker at the death.

The result leaves Doncaster where they were in 12th, still just 3 points off a playoff place although Rovers could drop down to 13th if Huddersfield Town win their game in hand.

Final Score: 1-1

Attendance: 5608
