Former Reds striker has said that the Reds are a joy to watch and has paid tribute to Rafa Benitez for guiding Liverpool to an impressive 9 game winning streak. He said: "The defence are like scrooges at the moment and at the other end of the field we've started to take our chances. The creativity has always been there, it was just a question of the strikers starting to score and that's what they're doing now. "The credit must go to the manager. He has gone back to basics really. He's made us very hard to beat while at the same time making sure we've got an attacking threat. It's a joy to watch, it really is. "You fancy us to win any game at the moment. Last season our achilles heel was the away form but we've just won four in a row away from Anfield so that shows the squad is stronger than it was. "Now we have to go to the next level. We won't be thirty points behind Chelsea again at the end of the season, that's for sure, but we need to see how much we can reduce the gap. "I thought the league was over in October when Chelsea got their noses in front and I don't see them losing it. Chelsea's squad is stronger than Liverpool's and Rafa knows that. I think we need to bring in three or four world class players to make us even stronger for next season and to try and get neck and neck with them."
