Rafa - Fernando Morientes will improve.

Rafael Benitez believes that Fernando Morientes will silence his critics over the coming weeks by scoring goals on a regular basis. Rafa said:

"I believe Morientes will improve. Sometimes he has done okay when he has played and other times he might have done better, but he will get better.

"We know that Morientes is a good player and we know what he can bring to our team. We should see that very soon."

Meanwhile the Liverpool manager is currently preparing his team for next weeks Champions League qualifier in Bulgaria against CSKA Sofia.


"I have videos of them to watch and my scouts have seen them play," he added. "They told me that they are a good side who like to keep the ball.

"I expect them to be a more difficult challenge for us than Kaunas or TNS but we know what we have to do."
