Liverpool play Man City tomorrow, a team that has Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler as their striker. Rafael Benitez spoke today of his admiration for Robbie and hopes he has a quiet day tomorrow. Benitez said: "I know Robbie is a very good player and a very good finisher. I just hope he has a quiet game tomorrow and then scores a lot of goals after our match!"

The Liverpool manager feels it will be a tough game in Manchester against a City team working hard for new manager Stuart Pearce.

Benitez said: "When you change the manager normally you find the players work hard and try to do well. We go into the game with confidence but we need to be careful because I am sure they will play with a high tempo and it will be difficult.

"I remember the game against Manchester City earlier this season being very difficult. They went 1-0 up but we had a very good second half and won the game 2-1. They played good football and worked very hard.

"We know that we are playing well and we want to do the same against Manchester City. We are one point behind Everton and we know we can put pressure on them if we win."
