Former Liverpool player and team-mate of Kenny Dalglish, Alan Hansen, has praised the job the Liverpool manager has done since taking over at Anfield. Kenny has taken the team from 12th to 5th place in a few short months and every Liverpool fan is hoping he gets the job full time.
Hansen said:
"For me the big thing has been the flexibility of the formations that Kenny has used and how players have adapted," Hansen told LFC Weekly.
"Kenny knows the game and he knows players, but also ingrained in him is the Live
rpool way - the pass and move game that our club's success was based upon.
"Right from the word go, as he has said himself, he wanted to see players passing and moving on the training ground. We're reaping the rewards of that already."
Hansen added: "I know I keep saying it, but as a club and a team there is still a long way to go.
"However, everyone who has seen Liverpool play over the last few months recognises that we are on the right lines and that is great to see after such a difficult first half of the season."
