Carroll is not here to play long ball - Dalglish

Kenny Dalglish is aware that the Reds could become a team that plays long ball with Andy Carroll up front when they are struggling, but he believes that his players are good enough to know when to use the long ball and when it’s unnecessary. 

He said:

"It's up to us to get to know Andy, and Andy to get to know us. I don't think we've done too badly in the game and a bit he's played for us. We were better the second time than we were the first.

"We've got intelligent lads here and I'm sure they'll work out when's right and when's wrong and they'll get it right most of the time."

Carrolls a player but hes not fit yet ,hes playing in a struggling side .Ihave no doubt what so ever next season with an improved squad we will exploit his strengths in the air and on the deck .

I agree carra, I'm still not sure he's worth 35 million, but hell Chelsea paid for him so no worries.
