Hill Replaced by Macca and Macca

Tranmere have today announced significant changes to its backroom staff as Assistant Manager Richard Hill leaves the Club. Hill will be replaced by John McMahon and he will be assisted by Jason McAteer who has been earning his coaching badges in his time at Tranmere.

Speaking to the Official Website this evening, Brian Little said he had been reviewing matters at the Club at both playing and coaching levels.
He said ""I've taken a fresh look at a number of areas, primarily the first team but also the way we operate behind the scenes. What worked well for us last season isn't as effective now and we hope this simplified structure will suit us better.
"John has made the transition from Youth coach to First team coach very well and Jason made his desire to move into coaching clear when he joined us. This marks the first step of this transitional path from player to coach. Initially he'll assist John McMahon as a player/coach and John's role will be unchanged".
