Total Tranmere brings you all the information you could possibly need to know about Rovers visit to Swansea’s New Stadium. We have information on where to eat and drink around the Stadium and we also have travel details and directions to make your journey and visit as comfortable as possible.

Swansea New Stadium - Stadium Information

 

 

Stadium Capacity:  20,000

 

Away Fans: 3,500 in North Stand (All-Seated and Covered)

   

Programme Cost: £2.50

 

Other Information: This Stadium is ALL NON-SMOKING.

 

 

At the Ground

 

 

Where to Eat and Drink:  There are  number of Pubs around the ground but we have been informed that The Railway Inn is a strictly Home Fans Only Pub and it is therefore not recommended that Visiting Supporters use this Pub.  There are also a couple of Pubs in the area around Swansea Marina which is a 10 to 15 min walk from the Stadium. A Swansea fan (Staffs Jack) has recommended the Tug and Turbot as one good one.

 

There are no Restaurants around the Stadium so other than the City Centre, the only place to obtain food is inside the Stadium itself.

  

 

Getting To the Stadium

 

 

Car Parking: No Parking is available for Cars at the Stadium or in surrounding areas.  Coaches and Minibuses can park at the Stadium under the instruction of the Police.

 

By Road (If Travelling by Car):

 

For visiting supporters in cars, there is no parking available on matchdays either at the Stadium or in the surrounding area.  Supporters are therefore requested to use Park and Rides which are clearly signposted off Junction 45 of the M4 Motorway.  From here there will be shuttle buses provided to take supporters to the Stadium.

 

By Road (If Travelling by Coach or Minibus):

 

Exit the M4 Motorway at Junction 45 and when you reach the Roundabout, take the first exit (left) onto the A4067 in the direction of the City Centre.  After travelling on the A4067 for around two and a half miles, you will see the Stadium on your left hand side, where the Police will instruct you where to park.

 

By Total Tranmere Minibus!!!:

 

To save money on the rather expensive Official Coaches (see below), we at Total Tranmere have commissioned a Minibus to take us to Swansea which it is expected will be cheaper than the Official Coaches.  To book your seat, put your name down on This Message Board Thread as soon as possible!  Places are on a first come first served basis.

 

By Official Club Coach:

 

Executive Coaches Only:

Members         = £23.00 - Adults  £21.50 – Under-16s/Over 60’s

Non-Members  = £25.00 - Adults  £23.50 – Under-16/Over 60’s

 

Coaches Depart Prenton Park at 8.00am

 

By Rail:

 

Swansea’s main Railway Station is approximately two miles from the Stadium and is served by local Bus Services (4 and 4A) that will take supporters from the Rail Station to the Stadium and back.  Taxi’s from the Station will also take you to the Stadium.

 

Rail Travel to Swansea from the Merseyside area is expensive and takes on average around five hours with two changes of trains.

 

We advise the following:

 

From Liverpool Lime Street to Swansea is expensive so we recommend that supporters take the Merseyrail to Chester and then buy a ticket to Swansea from there.

 

Liverpool Lime St. to Swansea:  Prices start from: £62.00 Adults and £31.00 Under 16’s

 

Chester to Swansea: Prices start from: £29 Adults and £19.50 Under 16's.

 

For London and the South based SuperWhites, Swansea is served by First Great Western services from London Paddington almost half hourly.

 

London Paddington to Swansea: Prices start from: £27.50 Adults and £19.00 Under 16’s
